Certified Asset Recovery Specialist® (CARS) National Certification Program
The Certified Asset Recovery Specialist® National Certification Program was developed by Matrix Educational Systems, Inc. Matrix is a (Florida) licensed training facility created to provide professional training curriculums for the collateral recovery industry. The course consists of twelve (12) sections, covering the Asset (Collateral) Recovery Industry, Skiptracing, Ethics and Communication, Defensive Driving and Tow Truck Operation and Insurance Coverage’s critical to these operations
Upon satisfactory completion of the C.A.R.S. program and passing a final exam, the graduate will receive a Certificate of Completion from Matrix Educational Systems.
All graduates of the Certified Asset Recovery Specialist® National Certification Program will have their name and date of certification listed on our website at no additional charge. Also available to graduates of the program is the use of our trademarked logo and designation of Certified Asset Recovery Specialist® (C.A.R.S.®), on company advertising and websites.

Field Recovery Specialist (FRS) National Certification Program
The Field Recovery Specialist Operations Manual was developed specifically for the field agent physically involved in the self-help repossession process. The FRS Manual addresses the many scenarios and confrontational situations the Field Recovery Specialist is faced with on a daily basis with proper responses that reduces the potential for liability on the part of the FRS, the recovery agency owner, client and insurance carrier. The Field Recovery Specialist Operations Manual is the key to managing the “inherent” risks associated with the self-help repossession process.
The FRS Operations Manual also addresses the federal and state laws that affect the self-hellp repossession process, including the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), Gramm, Leach, Bliley Act (GLBA), the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), and the Telephone Records and Privacy Protection Act (TPPA) State statutes include the state specific Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Crimes Against Person and Crimes Against Property.. These laws will be discussed later in this manual and are covered in detail in the Certified Asset Recovery Specialist (C.A.R.S.) National Certification Program. Every Field Recovery Specialist should be certified through the the FRS Program.
